I love a quick and easy breakfast that doesn’t take much effort. This one works for me because I throw everything into my mixer and cook it in the pan. My kids are full and happy. And I know they got a nutritious breakfast without the headache.

I’ve been on a mission to add more whole wheat into my recipes because our flour these days has almost no nutrition in it. I don’t know about you, but I want to be healthy and strong, and I want my kids to be healthy and strong. If you really don’t have that, just use regular flour or all-purpose.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla paste
  • 2 1/2 cups milk

Directions:

  1. Add all of your ingredients into your mixer. Mix on low until well blended.
  2. Turn your burner to heat level 5/10. Or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Rub butter on your pan.
  4. Take 1/2 a cup scoop of the mixture and place it onto your pan.
  5. Cook your first side for about 5-7 minutes. When you see bubbles forming in the dough, you know it’s a good time to flip. About 3-4 minutes of cook time for the second side.
