I’m definitely a fan of burgers. Often, when going out to restaurants, I would feel the need to order a burger. I feel like you get everything you’d ever want. Meat. bread. Veggies. Cheese. It’s like a salad that you hold.
This is The Wipe Your Face Burger. After you try this burger, you might find yourself liking burgers almost as much as I do.
Now, in this recipe, I recommend a Sourdough brioche bun. I made mine at home.
But store-bought brioche buns will do the job too. But hey, your burger, your preference.

My opinion is, the better the BBQ sauce, the better the patty. So, use the best you’ve got.
This is my “top secret” not-so-secret recipe for my burger patties that my family enjoys. And I hope you and your loved ones will enjoy them as much as we do. Don’t forget to bring a napkin.

Method
- Mix all of your ingredients in the bowl with your hands.
- Turn your cast-iron pan to low to medium heat for 30 seconds. Then add some olive oil to the bottom of the pan.
- Form your patty with your hands and place it onto the pan. Fill your pan with the patties you've formed.
- Allow the first side to cook for approximately 10-12 minutes. Then flip it to the other side.
- Allow the second side to cook for another 9-12 minutes. Then flip once more.
- If you plan on melting cheese on the patty, add it now. Allow that to cook for another 3-6 minutes.
- Assemble your burger and enjoy!
Notes
- If you have littles that hate onions, just substitute 1 tsp onion powder.
