Sourdough Pizza Dough

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups Sourdough Starter Active
  • 1 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 3/4 cup Warm Water
  • Oil for the bottom of the bowl

Method
 

  1. Add all of your ingredients into a mixing bowl except the oil for the bottom of the bowl.
  2. Set your mixer on low with a dough hook and allow that to go for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Add a little bit of olive oil to the bottom of your mixing bowl and cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
  4. Allow this to rise/ferment for 6-10 hours.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Lightly dust your work area with flour. Cut the dough into three equal pieces.
  7. Take the three pieces of dough and shape them into circles and slowly stretch them with your fingers. You can also alternatively roll the dough out to about 10x10 inches.
  8. Place each dough onto a parchment paper-covered baking sheet. Add your desired sauce, cheese, and toppings to each pizza.
  9. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Plate up and enjoy once cooled!
